I am a Mexican artist and educator based in Los Angeles. My work reflects my Mexican heritage, infusing each piece with vibrant color and sly humor. My artwork is inspired by ancient Mesoamerican art and mythology and contemporary Latin American artists and musicians. My practice deals with themes of community, feminism, and nature.

I graduated from Art Center College of Design in 2017 with a BFA with Honors in Illustration. My freelance clients include The New York Times, WePresent, Birdhouse Skateboards, Theodore Payne Foundation, Compound Butter Magazine, and more. I have taught art classes at several organizations, including La Casa de Esperanza and Prism Art School in Los Angeles, CA, and The Learning Tree of Arts in Miami, FL.

I have shown my work at La Luz de Jesus Gallery, the Society of Illustrators, Hey There Projects, and Giant Robot gallery. I currently have a solo exhibition at the Theodore Payne Foundation gallery featuring paintings, drawings, and papier-mâché sculpture.
